Really really really enjoyed myself here, really. Unfortunately on the way in my phone died so I only got the one picture but I can honestly say you will be making a smart choice by going to The Oliver St. John Gogarty in temple bar if you are looking for traditional Irish music and traditional Irish food at affordable prices.
I would advise to get there early though as this place packs up fast. Live music starts everyday at 1pm so it would not hurt to get there for 12:30 or so. As for the restaurant side of things at lunch you can order a 4 course meal for€25. I got this and they give you list of you can order. For my starter I ate Irish Pork, Leek & Fresh Herb Sausage with braised lentils and mushy peas, then a traditional Irish Soup of the day (potato leek), then some cheese and dessert. It Also includes a glass of wine. The whole experience was absolutely awesome and as I said if you wanted the traditional Irish experience in the heart of temple bar Dublin the The Oliver St. John Gogarty is the place to go. It is also worth mentioning that they offer accommodation in the forms of apartments and a hostel. This makes this place a one stop place for a lot of travelers looking for the Irish experience.
