1. Langkawi Cableway
The cableway takes pride of place in the list of Langkawi’s most stunning attractions. It starts near the south-western coast of the island in the amusement park called Oriental Village and consists of 2 sections.

A small cable car departs from the main platform and rises over the jungle, where at the height of 650 meters it arrives to the observation deck.
This a really excellent place for the best panoramic photos. But that’s not the final destination of the cable car, because it goes higher in the sky to the top of Mount Matchinchang (located at the height of 710 meters) offering charming and fascinating views of the whole Langkawi Island.

2. Langkawi Underwater World Aquarium
It’s hard to believe, but Langkawi has one of the biggest aquariums in Southeast Asia, which is a home for about 5 thousand underwater inhabitants from around the world. The largest of them – sharks, rays, turtles you can see walking down the transparent underwater tunnel.

Though, there is not only fish in the Underwater World. For example, in the “Rainforest” hall you’ll find land tortoises, pink flamingos, black swans, skittish little monkeys, striped lemurs and parrots.
In the ”Ice World” hall there are chinstrap penguins providing an interesting funny show for children. And the separate hall is devoted to the inhabitants of the Amazon: crocodiles, anacondas, etc.

3. Seven Wells Waterfall
Seven Wells Waterfall is a wonderful unusual sight on Langkawi, where according to the legend, celestial fairies were bathing.
Seven streams of the waterfall fall down from the height of 35 meters and create 7 lakes, where you can swim and relax. The magnificence of the surrounding nature and the coolness of the lake waters also make this waterfall a beautiful place to escape from the intolerable tropical heat.

4. Tanjung Rhu Beach
Tanjung Rhu is the most beautiful beach on Langkawi. Long and wide coast, soft white sand, stunning landscapes, the almost complete absence of people and crystal clear waters make this beach an ideal place for relaxing and romantic moments.
The best time to visit Tanjung Rhu is after 4pm or early in the morning, when the sun is not as active as in the afternoon. The beach is located in the most luxurious part of Langkawi, but in spite of this – it’s absolutely free to visit.

5. Langkawi Wildlife Park
Langkawi Wildlife Park is a wonderful place, especially for those who travel with kids. An interesting feature of the park is that the animals can move freely within its territory and you have a unique opportunity to feed them. Among the numerous inhabitants of the Wildlife Park you’ll find lots of species of birds, funny monkeys, dwarf deer, porcupines and even amazing and rare Binturongs.
The food for animals you can buy right next to the entrance of the park (about 6RM for 1 package).

6. The Gua Landak Cave
Gua Landak is the most popular and easily accessible cave on Langkawi.The second name of the cave is the “Cave of Porcupines”, because many years ago it was inhabited by these animals. Now it is a mysterious limestone place with lots of amazing stalactite and stalagmite formations. Gua Landak is located a short drive from Kuah Town along the Highway 160, where you’ll find the rocky path that leads to the cave. It will be better to take a flashlight, as it can be very dark inside the cave.

7. The Crocodile Adventureland
The Crocodile Adventureland is a unique place where on the area of 19 hectares you can find more than 1000 crocodiles. Daily at 11.15am and 2.45pm the workers of the Adventureland make a breathtaking show for its visitors putting their hands (and sometimes heads) to the mouth of these dread predators.
In addition, you’ll also get a real crocodile tooth as a gift upon completion of the tour.
