Swan in the Galway Canal

Walking home the other day from the downtown Galway I came across a white goose… err I mean swan… Its a swan! This is one my first times ever seeing a swan up close and let me tell you it was magical. They really are very majestic animals and are very elegant in their movements. I have been told that there is a whole pack of them down by the docks and apparently they attack people who stop look at them. I find it hard to believe that such a beautiful animal would have such a mean streak but then again they are just trying to protect their own.
